MI 101 Biblical Basis of Missions 3 Credits A study of the biblical basis for missions including the call, qualifications, and preparation of missionary candidates, the relation of the pastor to missions, and the role of the local NT church in missions.
MI 201 History of Missions 3 Credits A survey the growth of the apostolic church through the journey’s of the Apostle Paul up to the present.
MI 301 Comparative Religions 3 Credits A comparative study of the major non-Christian religious systems, with an analysis of their basic doctrinal and philosophical errors.
MI 303 Cults 3 Credits An introduction to the false teachings of, and the scriptural arguments against, the major cults of the world.
MI 310 Principles and Practices of Missions 3 Credits A study of the principles of missionary service, and the practical aspects of life and work on the field. This course deals with such matters as relationships to other missionaries, to the nationals and to the national church, plus various types of missionary endeavors.
MI 401 Missionary Biographies 3 Credits The lives of veteran missionaries are studied in an effort to learn from their experiences. This course may be taken as an independent research class.
