The mission of North Love Baptist Bible College, under the ministry of North Love Baptist Church, is to provide an academic setting designed to enable local NT church members to prepare to carry out the Great Commission, using as their guide the Holy Spirit, and as their primary resource, the Authorized Version (KJB), the preserved Word of God for English-speaking people. Students will be 1. equipped for service in the various ministries of a local New Testament church, 2. be committed to labor alongside the pastor, and 3. be empowered to lead a Christ-centered life. The following outline these objectives:
- · To Direct Students, by a Living Example, to practice local NT Church Christianity.
- · To Direct Students, by a Godly Testimony, to establish a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and encourage them to love Him with all their hearts, souls, and minds.
- · To Direct Students, by a Personal Desire, to develop a heart for God, and a conformity to Christ’s character in academics, attitudes, and actions.
- · To Direct Students, by Sound Biblical Teaching, to add to their faith virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, and charity.
- To Direct Students, by Individual Discipline, to strike a biblical balance in their lives between
- holiness and love
- the external and the internal
- building and defending the faith
- the polemical (attacking the error) and the apologetic (stating the truth)
- the exegetical (opening their minds to the Word in private) and the affirmation (opening
their mouths to the world in public, only after first having performed the exegetical
task)
- confidence in holding their views and humility in expressing them
- · To Direct Students, by Holy Spirit Led Determination, to live lives of godliness and
faithfulness by developing these patterns:
- walking in the Spirit
- learning and living the principles of God’s Word
- establishing daily devotions, Scripture memorization, meditation, and an effective, fervent prayer life
- serving in the local NT Baptist Church and reaching others for Christ
- · To Direct Students, by Unselfish Love, to demonstrate the love of Christ through strengthening and discipling other Christians.
- · To Direct Students, by Biblical Character, to abhor dishonesty and rebellion, to guide them to principles of personal revival, and to teach them to be an influence for church revival.
- · To Direct Students, by Genuine Concern, to have a burden for world-wide missions, and to prepare to labor in the fields, white unto harvest.
